By this time tomorrow, I'll be spent from an awesome day wandering around Portland, Oregon. I'm very eager to check out the runnability of a city that appears to have much promise. My iPod is charging and my camera is ready.
Oh yeah: I guess I have to go to a conference too. But that's not until Thursday.

four years and three marathons ago...
I needed a sherpa just to make it around the block. Suddenly, racing an Ironman (soon) doesn't seem like such a pipe dream. Follow my journey to 2.4 miles swimming + 112 miles cycling + 26.2 miles running, and the 140.6 reasons I find to overindulge in sugary treats.

I'm jealous. Haven't yet been to the Pacific Northwest, but it's definitley on my to-do list. The running scenery should be awesome.

Congratulations on your 10 miler race. It's nice to have a cheering section to lift your spirits. And when you cheer others on it also lifts your spirits even more. You had a great attitude.
Have a great time and take lots of pix. There is no such things as too many (I mean it, I went to Hawaii for 7 days and took over 700 pictures on a 2G memory card). And don't forget your charger for the camera.
